Android devices - Split Screen

I discovered this cool feature on my MOTO android phone and thought it was worth sharing on my blog. In this video, you will see me use 2 apps on the same screen. Points to note when using this feature are listed below.

• Split screen mode depletes your phone battery faster than normal.
• Not all apps can work in this mode.
• Most new android phones have this feature.

Play Games - Android devices

I own a smartphone for the last 10 years but I never came across this app due to varying reasons until my son discovered it. This is an app that comes with some in-built apps, some that can be installed and some that can be played live without installation.

SkyMap - Hand-held planetarium for Android devices

SkyMap app is a cool app to know the names of heavenly objects in your night sky. In this video, you are seeing me using the app to identify some celestial objects that were visible in the night sky as I was taking a walk around my apartment complex. The floodlights in my apartment complex were blinding but you can still follow my audio. Let me know what you think of the app.

Screen Recorder for Android phones

You may have noticed that I posted 2 videos on whats happening in my smartphone screen when using some cool features in my phone. All this recording was possible using the app known as ADV screen recorder (Link here: ADV Screen Recorder). Its free and it has a simple interface to create videos from your smartphone screen. Here is a screenshot of the app from my smartphone.

Google Lens - Another magical smartphone feature that can open up the World for you.

I live in an apartment surrounded by greenery. I have always wondered if the trees, plants and shrubs have a name or its me discovering them for the first time for humanity. My wonder turned my attention to a feature that came in Android phone camera called Google Lens. In this video, I have shown how I find the name of a plant that grows around my apartment. Dont just stop with finding names of plants, it can help you explore a whole lot of other things around you.

Google Transate - Word in tamil translated into English

Google Translate is a great app to write and translate words from one language to another. It currently supports 109 languages at various level. In this video, I am translating the word வணக்கம் in Tamil to English by writing it on my smartphone.
